Our departure point is conveniently located on the Redcliffe Peninsula at the end of the Redcliffe Jetty. Once you arrive, our friendly staff will be there to welcome you and ensure a smooth boarding process onto our high-speed luxury vessel, the ‘Eye Spy’.
Brisbane Whale Watching departs 7 Days a Week – June to November. We are located just 30 minutes drive from Brisbane’s CBD and Airport and only 60 minutes from the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast on the Redcliffe Peninsula.
On board you’ll experience sightings of the magnificent humpback whale and many other marine animals – e.g. Dolphins. All on the calm clear pristine waters of the bay. We have wheelchair access and are Eco Accredited. We have found that whales use the area to rest, bond and feed their young. Often we’ll see new born whales or even live births from the deck, up close and personal.
Boarding commences from The Redcliffe Jetty at 9.00am and returns approx 2.30pm. We offer a 100% guarantee that you will see the beautiful whales of Moreton Bay. Cruise includes a Gourmet Picnic Lunchbox.
A portion of every ticket price is donated to ongoing whale research. A licensed bar, snack and souvenir counter is available on board. Brisbane Whale Watching is Australian owned and operated.

Maree C2023-10-14Wow! An amazing trip and absolutely worth every cent. We were privileged to watch a female Humpback Whale and her calf swim around for about an hour and a half. The crew were extremely knowledgeable which made for a very interesting voyage. We also saw dolphins and several turtles off Moreton Islands. We loved it so much that we are giving our daughters vouchers for a cruise for Christmas.
Carolyn B2023-10-14LOVELY EXPERIENCE FOR ALL AGES The staff are amazing; really friendly and knowledgeable. The vessel is well looked after, clean & plenty of room to move around. It's airconditioned & seating is comfortable. There are many places, indoors & outdoors with different levels for optimum views. We bought the package that included a little picnic lunch of Chicken & ham slices, potato salad w/ roast pumpkin green salad. In a separate container were fresh slices of in season fruits; watermelon, Strawberry, orange, honey dew & rockmelon. All the food was delicious. They also sell a small variety of cold & hot beverages & pkt plain potato chips. They have a small range of memorabilia to buy. It's nearing the end of the season, though we were lucky to see a mother whale & her calf who appeared to be just as interested in us, as we all were of them. They happily frolicked around the boat. As we made our way out, there was a pod of Dolphins off in the distance. While we were out near Moreton Island, a couple of turtles swam by. We recommend doing this tour. It really was a pleasant day.

I was impressed by the quality of the overall experience from comfort , expanse I've glass windows from inside the boat and the knowledge of the captain in the tour . The scientific and approach of sensitivity to a mother and her calf which we followed for the whole tour was to be commended . Impressed by the courtesy and support staff all round .
